• Scales are sold as a pair, cut in half from a single block. Each measures 5" x 1-1/2" x 3/8".
• Grinds, sands, and polishes very well. Use very sharp tools and drill slowly to avoid tear out. Built to withstand normal use, but can break if you throw it on concrete floors.
• Great for making beautiful, iridescent knife and gun handles! This material has a depth of luminance that imparts a subtle three-dimensional look.

Create a custom handle that no factory knife can copy. This Inlace Acrylester scale blank is hand-poured in the USA from optical-grade resin infused with liquid inlay pigments. The material shimmers with vivid color layers and a deep, pearlescent chatoyance that standard acrylic cant match. Each 5 1.5 3/8 pair is one-of-a-kindthe photos show buffed examples to highlight pattern variety, but your piece ships un-buffed so you can finish it to your preference. Progressively sand to at least 400 grit, polish or buff with plastic compound for a mirror-like surface. Perfect for custom knife handles, pistol grips, small tool scales, or accent spacers when you want maximum color and depth without sacrificing durability.
