Locksport enthusiasts enjoy practicing with truly challenging lock combinations, and they prize being able to rekey those locks at will. This excellent practice kit not only supplies a hefty selection of 6-pinned, high quality KIK-style practice locks, but it also includes the GSR Enterprises top of the line "universal type" practice lock stand; the LocksportXPC Stand. Also included with this sizable kit; a pair of pin tweezers and our exclusive EZ Rekey Conversion Kit. This is a modified top retainer for any one of the practice locks in this assortment with removable top cap (you will have four such locks in this set). Just remove the existing top retainer on one of those locks and replace it with our modified top retainer and from that point forward you can repin (rekey) the lock any way you choose without the need of tools. This process is amazingly fast and super easy. We supply enough extra bottom pins in this kit to create literally thousands of pin combinations, from ridiculously easy to feverishly difficult. We also give you 6 spool drivers to make combinations near pick-proof. This kit includes the following KIK-style 6-pinned practice lock cylinders: Cutaway with KW keyway, cutaway with SC keyway, standard with KW keyway, standard with SC keyway, standard with Sargent LA keyway, and standard with Yale YGA keyway. Each cylinder is supplied with a working key. Note that all these locks can be rekeyed in the standard way if you have a plug follower and you understand how to rekey locks using standard techniques. Use the conversion kit to convert one of them into an EZ Rekey lock and you will be able to do the rekeying with no prior rekeying experience, and with no tools required. Note, too, that the LocksportXPC Stand, as illustrated in one of the accompanying images, is capable of holding a very wide variety of practice lock cylinder types, including: KIK cylinders, mortise cylinders, rim cylinders, I-Core cylinders, Euro profile cylinders.
