This Cold Shoe Receiver Adapter features a built-in 1/4"-20 male screw, allowing users to easily adapt any 1/4"-20 thread on their camera cage to support Cold Shoe-based accessories. The Cold Shoe Receiver features one way mounting, meaning that Cold Shoe accessories remain more secure and are less likely to become accidentally disconnected. This is the perfect option for securely attaching an external monitor to the top of a camera cage that does not have native cold shoe mounts via an accessory like our Adjustable Cold Shoe Accessory Mounting Bracket. (not included) The integrated safety pin provides for additional security for your accessories.
