The LevelOne FVT-1101 Multi-Mode Fiber Media Converter with SC connector is capable of converting network signals between copper and fiber based networks. The converter features a 10/100Base-TX RJ-45 port, supports full duplex and half duplex connectivity, as well as 10Base-T and 100Base-TX auto-sensing. With multi-mode fibre optic cables, the data signal can be transmitted up to 2 km. The converter can be used either standalone or as a plug-in module for the CHV-2000 19" chassis, which can accommodate up to 14 converters for use in a central data distributor.
