This is a vertical battery grip for the Canon EOS R8 RP DSLR Camera. It can be used as an additional power source for the camera. This vertical grip can also hold one or two LP-E17 Li-ion batteries - effectively doubling your recording capacity. It provides enhanced flexibility and not only helps to keep your hand in vertical and horizontal position, but also provides a stable platform for taking portraits, still life shots and other subjects that require a vertical format.
This battery grip can provide redundant button function controls and a trigger that is directly at hand when used vertically. This eliminates the need to access camera controls when shooting vertically.
There is power on/off switch.
