You can print crisp text and true colors on photo paper, transparencies, A4, legal, and more. With its sleek design and built-in USB and parallel ports (both Macintosh- and PC-compatible), the BJC 3000 is a fine companion for your desktop or laptop computer. Documents print with a keen 1,440 x 720 dpi resolution at 6 ppm for black and 4 ppm for color, rates supported by a 100-sheet paper feed for continuous printing. The printer handles all business stationery and envelopes, plus photo paper, glossies, and transparencies. There is also an optical sensor that sends you a message when ink is running low. Setup and installation are smooth and easy with the Canon Quick Start Guide, though the ink cartridge does require several steps, because each color tank is installed separately. An online user's reference is available if you need further assistance. The BJC 3000 comes with an AC power adapter, color and black ink cartridges, and a Canon Creative CD-ROM.
