Megan, a female police officer, shot and killed an armed robber in a small store while on night duty. It would seem that everything is fine, but the other police officers who came to the rescue do not find the weapon of crime on the spot, and Megan is in big trouble. But here in the city there is a series of murders - a man walks around the city and shoots people with a pistol similar to the one that the murdered robber had. Megan suspects it was one of the store's patrons who picked up the gun in the confusion.
