The Alpha Communications AEMOD8 AlphaEntry External Voice/Data Modems are designed to be used with a variety of AlphaEntry PC master stations when the internal or other modem is not fully compatible with all of the voice and data requirements of the AlphaEntry software; The AEMOD8 provides a simple and easy way to connect an analog telephone line to the AlphaEntry master station, using a plug-in Universal Serial Bus (USB) interface. The AEMOD8 is powered by the USB port and requires no additional external power
