Design to mount a single line or multi-line modular wall telephone that uses 2 of 4 conductors. Screw terminal connecting block has easy-to-read marking (no punch tool needed). Standard USOC Wiring 4-conductor, 6-position (6P4C), RJ14 W [(Wall) (red, green, yellow, black)]. Mounts on a standard NEMA electrical box (single gang) or Low-Voltage mounting plate, attached directly brick or masonry walls that limit interior access. Not just for wall phones, some cordless phone chargers or docking stations have the same mounting pattern.
