ETL approved and listed meets UL 5 and CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 62. Electrical ratings 125V/15A/60Hz/Recommended maximum load 1440W. Wide space between outlets. Easy on/off back cover where wires are connected. Easily stripped wires for easier removal and faster installation. Ideal for contractors, electricians and installers, as well as DIY installation guide. Before installation, you may need to obtain a 3/8 wire clamp connector and 3 wire connectors or terminal connectors. Decide on your wire gauge and ask the store assistant for help which connectors you should obtain from your local hardware, electrical supply, or home improvement store. Minimum tools required: A thin to medium Philips screwdriver, a pair of scissors, and a pair of medium-sized slip-joint pliers. Turn off the electricity in the house. Decide where to place this hardwired power strip unit, choose the knockout to be used for the wire exit, then gently knock it out with the back of a screwdriver or other handy tool. Unscrew the back cover of the unit with a Philips screwdriver. Pull out the white/clear plastic insulation sheet and use a pair of scissors to cut a hole about 3/4 in diameter, or large enough for WHERE the wires will pass through. If the lower knockout in the back cover is to be used for the wire connection, a wire clamp connector may not be necessary, so ignore steps 6, 7, and 9 below. Put the 3/4 wire clamp connector in place. Secure your installation by tightening the large ring screw inside the housing with the pair of slip-joint pliers.
